Is it bad form to tell a door-to-door charity worker that you're unclothed under your dressing gown? I didn't, for the record, but the thought crossed my mind.

It's coming up to my journal's 9th birthday (1 days after my 30th, incidentally) but I've only just got around to writing 1000 entries - this being that one. There'll be nothing introspective in this entry; I'll ave that for another time.

Today I set up a Compaq ProLiant DL320 to run Windows 2000. The installation CD wasn't able to access the SCSI disks, so I downloaded a driver CD and used that, only to find out that you can use the CD directly - instead you have to boot from it and create floppy drivers.
